What kind of small group or meetup events do you offer?
Our Singles Ministry is filled with professionals navigating life and building their careers while developing engaging social and spiritual lives. Within our Singles Ministry, you'll find small groups that meet weekly for personal Bible study or fun social activities, as well as our larger events like community service projects, midweek services, and annual retreats. It’s a great opportunity to meet people and build deep friendships.

The Singles Ministry events are designed to meet the needs across every life stage. We offer personal Bible studies and Midweek services, where we have open and honest discussions on topics like dating, career, marriage, relationships, and finances.

New Item What age range or life point is the Single's Ministry comprised of?
Our Singles Ministry is very diverse. We have many small groups within our larger Singles Ministry devoted to specific life stages. Our young professionals ministry caters towards those who are recently out of college or have only been in the workforce for a few years. Our EDGE Ministry is for those who are more seasoned in the workforce and don't identify as young professionals. Whatever stage of life you’re in, we have a place for you.

I’m looking for a way to participate in giving back to the community.
You’ll be in good company at The Valley Church. We are committed to serving the community around us. We support local programs like MEND (Meet Each Need with Dignity), HOPE of the Valley, Shepherd’s House and Casa De Vida and HOPE worldwide. You’ll also find other volunteer opportunities (link to community page) in your local area.
Singles ministry leaders
Gary & Claudia Smith
Gary and Claudia Smith have been married for 25 years and have two children, Troy and Kayla. Both were home grown here at The Valley Church and have served in the full time ministry for 14 years. They have served most of that time in the Teen Ministry, but now have the pleasure of leading the Singles Ministry where they were first converted over 27 years ago. The Smiths love God and care for others deeply and consider the church their family.
